Are you a fiduciary?

When we operate in a fee-based relationship, we are required to be a fiduciary per the agreement. As a Certified Financial Planner, our code of ethics also has a fiduciary requirement.

What are your fees?

Every financial plan is different, and we believe the financial plan, goals, and objectives dictate what investment options are appropriate for each individual family. As we walk through our complimentary second opinion process, we will make you aware of our advisor fee, internal expense ratios from investments, and any platform fees associated with the investment solution we agree upon.

What is the relationship between Trifecta Wealth Management and LPL Financial?

Trifecta Wealth Management and LPL Financial are separate entities. Often, when you engage with a licensed financial professional, they will have a custodian they are associated with. This is where your money is held, where you have online access, and where you receive statements from.

What’s the cost for a second opinion?

We offer a complimentary second opinion process to show you how we work with our clients rather than just tell you. We invest our time to earn your trust and provide you with education and clarity on your financial plan. When the second opinion process concludes, we will determine if we are a good fit to partner together.

Do you have a minimum to work with you?

We typically have a 1 million dollar minimum for new clients.

What is a comprehensive financial plan?

We believe a comprehensive financial plan touches on several different areas. Many institutions only offer investment consulting. We believe it’s broken down into several parts: Investment Consulting, Tax Mitigation, Cash Flow Analysis, Estate Planning, Insurance Planning, Charitable Giving, Retirement planning, and Relationship Management.This can vary, depending upon your circumstances.

What is your investment philosophy?

Our investment philosophy is tailored to our individual clients' needs. We implement a disciplined approach that includes portfolio diversification, a deep understanding of your ability to tolerate risk, and regular rebalancing. It is important to note that our custodian is independent, with zero proprietary products. Instead we have access to thousands of investment options, that we can select from to meet our clients specific needs.

Communication frequency is tailored to your preferences and needs. Typically, we conduct one comprehensive annual review, a dedicated financial planning meeting, and 1-2 check-in calls throughout the year to ensure you stay informed and engaged.

What is your client onboarding process like?

We strive to make the onboarding experience as seamless and easy as possible, guiding you at every stage. Our process begins with our mutual commitment meeting, where we assist in opening your accounts and preparing any necessary transfer paperwork. Once your assets have transferred, we’ll schedule an investment collaboration meeting to finalize your investment strategy together.

Following that, you'll meet with Heather, our Branch Operations Manager, who will familiarize you with our extensive resources, tools, and technology. This includes an overview of your first statement, guidance on using our client app and website, a walkthrough of our wealth planning tool, and access to our exclusive private client vault. We’re here to ensure you feel confident and supported as you embark on your financial journey with us.
